Christy dining is the premier dining collection in the Barkman Furniture product offering. Shown in the unique grain contrasts of grey elm and brown maple, Christy dining is available in an incredible assortment of table shapes, sizes and heights, with many compatible and uniquely comfortable chairs. The Christy Quick Ship collection features tops and seats in solid Grey Elm with your choice of color. The frames are made from solid Brown Maple wood in your choice of color. Our stocking color is Michaels finish on Grey Elm and Onyx on Brown Maple. Onxy is a very deep, dark, rich stain (not paint). Christy also has a two pedestal trestle style table. All wood finishes used by Barkman Furniture are classified as post-catalyst conversion varnishes. Barkman Furniture uses this kind of finish simply because it is the most durable finish available for use on fine hardwoods. It will resist moisture and damage from almost all household fluids, foods and chemicals. Even nail polish remover will not damage the product. Unlike a less costly lacquer-based product, which is softer and more susceptible to moisture damage, a catalyzed conversion varnish will provide durable protection for years.
